The Home of Franklin D. Roosevelt National Historic Site preserves the Springwood estate in Hyde Park, New York, United States. Springwood was the birthplace, lifelong home, and burial place of the 32nd president of the United States, Franklin D. Roosevelt. Eleanor Roosevelt is buried alongside him. The National Historic Site was established in 1945.
Home to the 32nd and longest-serving president of the United States, Franklin D. Roosevelt returned to Hyde Park often, drawing on this place to renew his spirit during times of personal and political crisis. Tours of the Home of FDR are offered daily. Tour times are subject to change and have different schedules seasonally. Tickets are available on a first come, first served basis in the Henry A. Wallace Visitor Center. Be advised that there is a 5-to-10-minute walk from the visitor center to the starting location of the tour.

Roosevelt National Historic Site is located in the town of Hyde Park, NY, approximately 5 miles north of Poughkeepsie along Route 9, midway between New York City and Albany, about a 1.5 hour drive from either direction. Located on the east bank of the Hudson River, the park is easily reached by either the Taconic State Parkway or Route 9, and the New York State Thruway west of the Hudson River.
