Park in Maryland

Piscataway Park is a National Park Service-protected area located 20 miles (32ย km) southwest of downtown Washington, D.C. in and around Accokeek, Maryland. It protects the National Colonial Farm, Marshall Hall, and the Accokeek Creek Site. The park is located across the Potomac River from George Washington's Mount Vernon estate.

About Piscataway Park

Piscataway Park is home to bald eagles, beavers, deer, foxes, ospreys, and many other species. To complement the surroundings, the park has, in addition to a public fishing pier and two boardwalks over fresh water tidal wetlands, a variety of nature trails, meadows, and woodland areas. The Park is also home to National Colonial Farm.

Piscataway Park, including Accokeek Creek Boardwalk, Farmington Landing, and Marshall Hall, is open daily for pedestrian access from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., and for vehicle access through gated areas from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Piscataway Park Gated Areas

Gated areas at Piscataway Park, including those at Accokeek Creek Boardwalk, Farmington Landing, and Marshall Hall, allow pedestrian access starting at 6:00 a.m. and open to vehicles from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Travel approximately 9 miles, at the traffic light by B&J Carryout turn right on Livingston Road (please note that Livingston Road crosses MD210 several times) Drive one block and turn right on Biddle Road. At the stop sign, turn left on Bryan Point Road and follow about 3.5 miles. National Colonial Farm will be on the right.
